Dr. Martin Berger graduated from Harvard University’s School of Dental Medicine and completed his Pediatric Dental Specialty training at Boston Children’s Hospital, one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals. During his training, he received both the James H. Shaw Award for overall achievement in research, training, and contribution to the field of pediatric dentistry from Harvard University and the NuSmile Graduate Student Research Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Berger feels honored that he was able to complete his training at Boston Children’s Hospital serving as a chief resident for the Dental Department.
Working in private practice in Connecticut for the past several years, Dr. Berger lives in Fairfield with his wife, who is also a dentist. Together they love to visit Boston and New York City, cook whatever meal Blue Apron sends their way, and discuss all the new trends developing in dentistry. Dr. Berger hopes dentistry could be seen as a fun and positive experience for each child or teenager he cares for– his goal being to provide the best to his young patients by being gentle, understanding, and compassionate.
Dr. Berger is a member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Connecticut State Dental Association. He is continuously taking Continuing Education courses to excel in the field of Pediatric Dentistry and stay current with latest treatment modalities.
